The historic Villa Zoppi is transformed into a luxury hotel

The 18th-century villa underwent a complete restoration to create a wonderful hotel in Verona, offering guests an unprecedented stay experience, full of luxury and charm. Villa Zoppi gains a second life thanks to interior designer Lorenzo Faccin and Daniele Andreasi, who studied and designed a complete renovation of the villa’s interior spaces.

“During the various design phases, the interior designer crafts a concept, plans spaces, designs custom furniture, selects materials, and ultimately supervises the works; they must know every single detail of the building, without overlooking its history, which represents an added value to be enhanced,” explains Lorenzo Faccin of Gruppo 5.

It is not only a matter of aesthetics, but above all of functionality, to satisfy every need of the client who chooses to stay in this type of property, where details are countless and must be properly orchestrated. A true challenge in creating spaces capable of lasting beyond a single night and lingering in the minds of those who pass through. All spaces were utilized to their maximum potential through a careful study of design and style: lobby, bar, breakfast room, meeting room, bedrooms, and suites. The common thread tying together the spaces of this Verona hotel is the distinctiveness of the chosen materials. Marble, wood, glass, leather—these are some of the prestigious materials enhancing an elite furnishing concept. Warm tones combined with contrasting hues are the colors used for part of the hotel’s finishes and decor accessories; nuances capable of bestowing brightness upon a space with a unique and timeless style. Marble enhances and brings character to the spaces with its veining, coloration, and plays of light, while the paintings hanging on the walls, with their gilded frames, elegantly complete the ensemble. The flooring blends delicately with the furnishings, drapes, and bespoke textiles, conveying an atmosphere of absolute tranquility where time seems suspended. We also handled the electrical and plumbing systems: the studies and performance assessments required, followed by testing of the entire installation in compliance with current regulations to ensure functionality and safety for the entire property.

All furnishings were custom designed and manufactured by Gruppo 5.
