Luxury and neoclassical design for the reopening of the historic former Hotel Eden in Sanremo

The recent renovation of the former Hotel Eden, one of the oldest accommodation properties in Sanremo, had a bold objective: elevating the hotel’s level from an initial 3-star rating to a prestigious 4-star category. This ambitious project, curated by our designers Lorenzo Faccin and Daniele Andreasi in collaboration with architect Francesca Formaggini, succeeded in radically transforming the structure, giving it a new and captivating character in the realm of luxury hospitality. While preserving the intrinsic elegance of its history, the hotel adopted a neoclassical style that celebrates its cultural heritage. This was made possible through close collaboration between our designers and STUDIO FORMAGGINI ARCHITETTURA INGEGNERIA from Sanremo, featuring meticulous design with extreme attention to detail. That same painstaking care was then transferred to Gruppo 5’s workshops, where our carpenters and craftsmen crafted sumptuous furnishings, true gems of luxury, that perfectly mirror the building’s timeless charm.The classic, sophisticated style blending with modern details is the hallmark of the entire project: a perfect balance between tradition and innovation to offer a unique and enchanting guest experience.

The 49 guest rooms, including 8 suites, have been furnished in a neoclassical style characterized by golden details, fine marble, and embracing armchairs offering high comfort, giving life to spaces that embody exceptional aesthetics and functionality.

The bedrooms are designed to enchant every guest with their elegant and refined design. The large, luxuriously padded headboards upholstered in white faux leather serve as the focal point of every room. The armchairs, upholstered in fine fabric, offer a cozy space to relax and enjoy quiet moments.

Golden details, featured on the mirror frames, wall sconces, and modern chandeliers with glass globes, add a touch of elegance, creating an atmosphere that reflects a classic and exclusive sensibility. In the suites, a truly unique element catches the eye: a freestanding bathtub in the center of the room.

The restaurant dining room, designed with symmetrical geometries, creates an orderly and refined setting. The wooden tables with fine golden bases bring a touch of glamour to the atmosphere. The enveloping seating, upholstered in wine red and sand fabric shades, offers unmatched comfort. Marble-lined niches dedicated to the buffet area add a touch of timeless elegance.

The renovation project also encompassed the wellness center, pool area, conference room, lobby, and reception.

This complete renovation project has brought new life to the former Hotel Eden, turning it into an icon of tradition and refined hospitality in the beautiful city of Sanremo.
