An atmosphere suspended between classic and modern

The historic Palazzo Ranzi, located in the elegant Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore in Trento, houses the 5 apartments of Hotel Accademia, situated just 50 meters away. A finely renovated hospitality property for which Gruppo 5 managed a 360-degree turnkey contract restyling project. It includes the design and supply of bespoke furnishings for the entire apartments, sofas, lighting fixtures, and coordination in selecting textile collections.

The goal was to create an atmosphere suspended between classic and modern, seamlessly integrated with the architectural context and its location in the heart of the historic center.

The apartments, differing significantly in size and layout, required tailored solutions for each space. Creating a unified stylistic atmosphere across the entire complex—one that also harmonized with the hotel’s main location—was a primary client request. All the environments we designed pair harmoniously, blending historic charm with linear, rational furniture design. Soft colors, structured shapes, and balanced combinations define a minimalist style that subtracts rather than adds and makes carefully curated choices. This approach helps unburden the spaces and amplify natural light, enhancing the harmony of the entire ensemble. The result is a warm, friendly atmosphere that never compromises on style.
The use of top-quality materials and fabrics, artisanal attention to detail across all processes, and a methodical, precise installation are key pillars of our philosophy, allowing us to deliver a “turnkey” project ready to welcome guests immediately.
