Contemporary synthesis: the dialogue between wood veneer and anthracite tones
In this interior design project, the kitchen area is reinterpreted through a refined play of chromatic contrasts and functional volumes. The absolute protagonist of the space is the island block, defined by a lacquered finish in a deep anthracite grey tone, which gives the volume a solid and rigorous scenic presence. Jointed with millimeter precision, the wooden table seamlessly extends from the island—an element that not only warms up the color palette but also breaks up the linearity of the structure, creating a convivial and dynamic tabletop.
The layout is completed by an impressive full-height equipped wall, which integrates the appliances and cabinetry into a continuous wood-veneer front. This choice allows for maximizing storage capacity while maintaining absolute visual cleanliness, thanks also to the absence of external handles. The working backsplash, coordinated with the wooden wall, is punctuated by ultra-thin metal shelves and a clever arrangement of technical lighting, which enhances the grain of the material and the depth of the anthracite grey, creating a technical environment with a warm and sophisticated character.
